YES I CAN..

Isaiah 54:17 MSG

Every time you make a decision to do something great, like follow through on a commitment, finish lingering assignments, or simply create ways to make yourself a better person, the devil will find ways to assault your efforts. He will either try to convince you that you'll never succeed or he'll entice you to spend more time on idle distractions such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and even youtube; to the point where you start to lose your focus, drive and eventually your vision. But, the Bible calls us to greater heights. God knew we would all need help reaching our crowns of victory, so he gave us these verses; promises that say nothing meant to harm us can succeed and when we tap into Christ's risen power, we are able to do anything He's asking of us (finish overwhelming homework assignments, forgive friends who've done us wrong or opening our hearts to new possibilities). We just have to make up our minds that we are well-able and equipped.

Prayer for Today: Dear Lord, the time of year is approaching when assignments are getting more difficult and distractions more enticing. Please help me to focus. Please help me to remember that You who began a good work in me, will bring it to completion. Do not allow me to give up or become discouraged. Please wrap your arms around me and bless my mind with Your light. And remind me to give you thanks, for it is already done. In Jesus' name. Amen.
